We would like to bring to your attention that all companies incorporated or registered under the Companies Law, Cap. 113, all European Public Limited Companies (SEs), and all Partnerships are obliged to access the Beneficial Ownership Resister (“BOR”) system between 1 October 2025 and 31 December 2025, in order to proceed with the confirmation of the details of their Beneficial Owners (“BOs”) or Senior Management Officials (“SMOs”).
In view of the above, please be reminded that any changes to the data reportable to the BOR in relation to BOs and SMOs must be reported within 45 calendar days from the day they come into effect. Failure to report the changes within the deadline, will result to a fine of one hundred euros (€100) for the first day of non-compliance, and an additional fine of fifty euros (€50) for each subsequent day of continued violation, up to a maximum total fine of five thousand euros (€5,000).
