Baker Tilly South East Europe had the honour of hosting this year’s Europe Conference, which took place in Athens from May 7 to 9. More than 150 senior and emerging leaders from the firm’s global network participated in this dynamic three-day event, themed “Leading Change, Creating Value”, highlighting change as a driving force for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth.
“This conference in Athens goes beyond the agenda. It’s a chance to come together, exchange ideas, and define how we lead with purpose in a world of constant change” said Mr. Marios A. Klitou, CEO of Baker Tilly South East Europe. “By bringing together the experience and vision of our network, we’re not just responding to change, we’re using it to shape a more ambitious, more connected future. Our ability to create value through change is what will distinguish us, and this conference is a critical step in that journey.”
The conference featured a dynamic mix of thought-provoking keynotes, hands-on workshops, and strategic conversations, with the participation of top executives from the organization – including Francesca Lagerberg, CEO of Baker Tilly International, who presented the organization’s global strategic priorities and vision.
The event was also honoured by the presence of Mr. Costas Fragoyiannis, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and current Advisor on Extroversion to the Prime Minister, who presented to the international delegates Greece’s steady economic recovery and the country’s optimistic outlook.
Throughout the conference, presentations and discussions were held on critical topics such as debt consolidation, mergers and acquisitions, as well as developments in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. The conference powerfully demonstrated the strength of belonging to a global network with a shared vision and values – a network that views change as an opportunity for progress.
