Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare food as specified by the Executive Chef and the pre-set recipes.
• Maintain a clean and orderly cooking station.
• Delivers the highest possible standards of quality food, presentation and services through the effective management of equipment and provisions.
• Maintains a clean and orderly cooking station and adheres to health and safety standards.
• Receive ingredients and other supplies from the main kitchen and/or pantry as required for daily operations.
• Reports to the supervisory and management team of the kitchen any deficiencies that are observed.
• Provides support to more junior members of the team.
• Undertake any other relevant duties and responsibilities, as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the Greek or English language.
• Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is a must.
• Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts is preferable.
• Possess team spirit and ability to work at a high paced environment.
• EU citizen with a valid residence and work permit in Cyprus is a must.
