Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set-up of Companies in Cyprus and overseas
  • Process day-to-day tasks of the Corporate Department
  • Draft and review corporate approvals and Powers of Attorney
  • Draft and review various types of agreements and contracts
  • Provide advice and guidance on corporate maters
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate clients and maintain client relationships
  • Support and manage corporate aspects or mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and other corporate transactions
  • Maintain corporate records and ensure the file of the entity is up to date
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of related documentation to local authorities, such as annual Returns, transfers of shares, changes to the board of directors, share capital changes
  • Keep the corporate clients up to date with statutory obligations and relevant filings within deadlines
  • Liaise with banks in Cyprus and overseas for account opening, account review and transaction processing
  • Processing bank documents/applications
  • Active involvement in maintaining business relationships with external associates and governmental authorities
  • Liaise and coordinate with other departments of the firm
  • Collection of KYC documents and ensuring compliance with AML requirements

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field of study. Legal academic background will be considered an advantage
  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in a corporate services / banking related role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
  • Computer literacy, with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work with teams, following instructions and guidelines
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Analytical thinking to provide solutions to complex issues

  • Holder of LCCI Higher will be considered an advantage.
  • Holder or studying towards the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) or CAT (Certified Accounting Technician) qualification will be considered an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Computer Literacy, with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

  • Prepare financial statements for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS)
  • Use CaseWare to prepare and review year-end accounts, balance sheets, and profit & loss and other statements
  • Prepare management reports and other financial analyses as required
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
  • Support the audit engagements and liaise with auditors

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting / bookkeeping / audit will be considered as an advantage
  • Holder of LCCI Higher or other accounting qualifications will be considered as an advantage
  • University Degree in Accounting or related field will be considered an advantage
  • Computer Literacy, with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients
  • Identify client expectations and assess risks, in turn determining and recommending solutions
  • Review the audit team’s work, ensuring deliverables are in line with Baker Tilly’s audit methodology, predetermined timeframes and quality standards
  • Provide training, coaching and support to more junior team members
  • Submit progress reports related to audit assignments to the Partner in charge
  • Have responsibility for the timely billing and collection of fees from clients
  • Maintain strong business relationships with existing customers, associates and governmental authorities.
  • Prepare competitive audit proposals
  • Enhance cooperation among Baker Tilly offices in the region
  • Lead, inspire and motivate the financial services audit team

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field of study
  • Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance, or related field will be considered an advantage
  • Holder of a related professional qualification (e.g. ACCA / ACA)
  • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in the Audit department
  • Experience of coaching, supervising and managing staff members
  • Strong negotiation skills and results orientation
  • Ability to perform well under tight timelines and pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
